Is He alive?

Thank you Lord, for this day you gave us. Thank you for the hands which prepared our meal. Bless the conversations we share. May we be a blessing to those we meet and keep us of mindful of those who have little. That we may find ways to share our bounty. Amen

I know you all have heard and seen the phrase "He has risen!" probably over 50 times this week for Easter Sunday. I'm sure most of you celebrated Christ's Resurrection this Sunday at church the same as I did. I'm sure that we can all agree that Christ is alive. He is risen. He lives. But this Easter a more personal question came to my mind...Is he alive in my life?

As a Christian, I'm sure we all understand that when we received God's salvation he began to live within us. But what I'm trying to focus on today is not the fact that God's living in us--but are you allowing him to live through you? Is he alive not only in your heart, but in your life? Has God risen up above all other things in your life or are you living as if He's still in the tomb?

God needs to be alive in your life. You need to let him radiate his love and His light through you for the whole world to see. Mat 5:16 - Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Christ died and arose for all mankind. He paid the ultimate sacrifice. We must be willing to make God first in our life. Is Christ living in you? If you're saved the answer is yes. (Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. ) But is he living through you? Christ saved you so he lives within you, but it's our job to let him live through us. Is Christ alive in all areas of your life? Is He your main focus in life? Is he your passion, message, and purpose? Are you letting him live through you? '

If you're saved Christ is living in you. Now it's your job to let him live through you.

Is He alive?
Luke 24:6  He is not here, but is risen:

Yes; He surely is. He's alive and well. But is He personally alive in your life? Have you allowed him to live in you and through you?

Give Him your all today. Let Him live through you!

1Co 3:16 - Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Keep shining bright

  1. This is something I definitely need to hear. A lot of people think that going to church and praying are ways to be connected the Him and have a relationships, but sometimes, we need to open up more and take the time to listen to His Word.

  2. I think that the deficiency in the church today isn't so much that we don't know what we believe, but that we don't understand what kind of significance the truth has on our lives. Thank you so much for this reminder! I hope you had a happy Easter. :)
