Bring the rain

 

Life gets hard. Trials come. Storms toss. Winds change. Struggles strike. 

sometimes things look down and out. Sometimes things look like there is no possible way for them to become right, sometimes we get so low in life we feel like giving up. This is where the rubber meets the road so to speak. This is where we decide what we are going to do. Life isn't always easy. There is always pain...but there is also always a healer. Sometimes God has to send a little bit of rain and a little bit of storm clouds our way. Without rain, without pain, without trials, we wouldn't be who God wants us to be. Some of the most amazing people through history suffered more then we could ever imagine.

Corrie Ten boom was a great woman of faith. But even she had to face trials. She lost her loved ones, she endured pain and suffering, but she kept faith and hope in Christ. and those trials are what molded her into the woman she became.

Paul in the Bible was tortured, beaten, and eventually killed for the cause of Christ, but that's what made him one of the greatest Christians of all time. His suffering for Christ is what made him great. He chose to serve God no matter what storms came his way, and God used him in miraculous ways.

John the Baptist was imprisoned, tortured, and killed for God.

and Jesus was betrayed, beaten, mocked, and persecuted for us. He suffered more then we could ever imagine.

You see sometimes God has to send storms our way. He has to test our faith. Some of us pass the test; we come out stronger then we were before. but others give up, they loose sight of God. They don't look to what he has planned out for them. They loose faith.

We must stay strong. But true strength doesn't come from ourself! It comes from God. We must put our trust in him and he will give us the strength to overcome the storms in life. Storms will come, but to every storm there is a calm, to every trial there is a triumph, and to all the pain we might endure in life there is a healer. His name is Jesus. 

God wants us to serve him even when the rain and storms come our way. We must serve God no matter what comes our way! God sends storms to make us stronger in him.

When we are at our lowest look to the highest. God will bring us through the storms of life. He might send a little rain are way but he is in control. God will be enough for us. I've been through enough to know that he is all I need! Even when storms blow and I feel like just giving up, I know that God is stronger then even the mightiest storms in life. He will always be there for us even when we feel like he is miles away. My dad likes this song and one of the lines says " when you can't see his hand trust his heart." This means that even when we can't see God through the storms in life, it means that he is still there and that we can trust him because we know in our hearts that he will take care of us.
